Eng. Hammad Naif Al-Shammari holds an Associate Diploma in Chemical and Process
Engineering Technology from Jubail Industrial College, specializing in Industrial Laboratory
Technology. Eng. Al-Shammari has completed significant training, including a 12-month course
in English and process operation, 160 hours of industrial field command at SABIC’s Fire
Training Center, and emergency response training at the University of Nevada, Reno.

He began his career with SHARQ, a SABIC affiliate, in 1992, accumulating 24 years of
experience in utility plant operations. He is proficient in YOKOGAWA, FOXBORO, and
HONEYWELL DCS systems and served as a Field Incident Commander at SHARQ/SABIC.
From 2005 to 2008, he was part of SHARQ’s 3rd Expansion project in the UK with Foster
Wheeler, where he contributed to all project phases, from proposal preparation to detailed
engineering.

From 2010 to 2015, Eng. Al-Shammari worked as a Senior Production Specialist in Utility
Operations, involved in reliability programs like RCM and RBI. He also collaborated with
Honeywell in South Korea and later served as Operations Manager for Utility Plants until 2018.
